EzriCare Eye Drops VD
Background Info
On Feb. 2, 2023, eye drop products, sold under the name EzriCare Artificial Tears Lubricant Eye Drops were recalled by their manufacturer, Global Pharma Healthcare, due to potential bacterial contamination. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is currently investigating a multistate outbreak of carbapenem-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa (CRPA) associated with using EzriCare Artificial Tears over-the-counter eye drops.

EzriCare Eye Drops Case Criteria:
- PC does not have an attorney for their potential eye drops case.
- PC purchased and used EzriCare Artificial Tears (eye drops).
- After applying EzriCare eye drops, PC suffered one of the following adverse health events:
- Eye infection resulting in permanent loss of vision in one or both eyes.
- Severe bacterial infection requiring hospitalization.
- Corneal Transplant Surgery Required due to Eye Infection
- Death due to eye infection
