Cartiva Toe Implant VD
Cartiva Toe Implant Background Information:
The PVA (polyvinal alcohol) material the Cartiva Toe Implant is made from is intended to mimic the body's natural cartilage, so active and "younger" people with pretty significant osteoarthritis can avoid a fusion surgery and retain some range of motion (women can wear heels, athletes can jump around and run, or so it was promised), but the implants are failing at an alarmingly high rate.
